Removes DRM from Spotify, downloads and converts the services' songs, playlists, albums and artists to MP3, AAC, WAV, FLAC, M4A, M4B losslessly. Offers the option to save the output tracks by artist or album automatically in order to make managing and archiving of your Spotify music files easier.

TunesKit Spotify Converter lets you listen to Spotify music even when you are offline. Since it supports several target formats, such as MP3, AAC, WAV, FLAC, M4A and M4B, it allows you to play your favorite songs on various types of devices. It is good to know that this tool requires Spotify to be installed on your PC and, if it is not, the converter will alert you about this issue.

The program has a minimalistic interface, both in terms of design and workflow. Fortunately, you do not need to consult any kind of document to start using this tool. Selecting the contents to download and convert is quite easy. The easiest way is by dragging playlists, albums, artists’ names or tracks and dropping them onto to the program’s window. In addition, it is also possible to paste the desired links via the Add Link button. Unfortunately, however, you cannot perform Spotify searches from within the tool. Next, you can pick a target folder and proceed to convert.

Just as a matter of personal opinion, I would prefer that choosing the target format could be more noticeable, as it is practically hidden in the Preferences menu. Yet, it is good that it is possible to not only pick the desired format but also set the number of output channels, the sample rate and the bitrate. Additionally, you can decide not the use the program’s 5X conversion speed to avoid any possible error.

One of the best advantages of TunesKit Spotify Converter is that it can preserve the original quality of the song, because, unlike other similar tools, it does not work by recording the music from the sound card but by actually downloading the data. Likewise, it is great that you do not lose the song’s metadata, which lets you automatically sort the tracks, by such criteria as artists and albums.

To conclude, TunesKit Spotify Converter is definitely a good addition if you are already using Spotify. It provides you with the opportunity to listen to a long list of music tracks even if you do not have an Internet connection at the moment. The product is shareware, so you can use its trial version at no cost.
